The Essence Of The Gospel

What is the gospel? It is the Good news of salvation. What is the essence of that gospel? The true Good News is that Christ provided a salvation for all who believe in him and repent of their sins. It is available to all, but it is effective only for those who accept his salvation. The gospel has a still greater objective: “to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ” 2 Thessalonians 2:14 (KJV).

Favor

The favor of God is a highway to connect a person to their destination or destiny.

“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God” Ephesians 2:8.

We are saved by His favor, I am not talking about going to heaven. We are delivered, protected, preserved, healed and made whole by the favor of God.

Faith in Prayer

“For the Lord will rebuild Zion and appear in His glory. He will respond to the prayer of the destitute; He will not despise their plea.” (Ps. 102:16,17).

The city of Zion is built upon the word of God.

  • Confidence in prayer is: God will respond to your prayer and rebuild, restore and revive that which you have lost. At the end of prayer there should be rest, confidence and assurance of victory. 
  • Prayer nullifies the power of the enemy and enforces the will of God.
